'Collective' is a selection of 12 songs from 6 albums that best feature the journey and the feeling that makes up Gnome & Spybey. 'Collective' is mood music for those times when you just aren't quite sure what mood you're in, a beam of welcome morning light pouring through the window after a sleepless night of worry. 'Collective' is krautesque meets ambient electronica in a texan dust storm. 'Collective' took the spaced-out atmospheres of its antecedents and focused them into trembling and pure paeans to nature and memory.

From 2009 - 2014, Tony D’Oporto and Mark Spybey embarked on a musical journey together that would yield 6 albums of experimental ambient music and soulful truck stop jams. An adventure that would take them from England and Los Angeles, to Texas, Toronto, New York City, Mexico City and all points in between. This project also features collaborations with esteemed colleagues such as David Thrussell, Robert Rich, Tom Shear and Michael Morton.
