after his highly acclaimed remix work for test dept., budapest’s andrás gulyás aka livingtotem presents his new album 'surreal existence'. andrás' fascination with classic ebm and darker industrial has led to an energetic and progressive fusion of tribal, industrial and technoid sounds. it's a terrific piece of work which transcends any label or music genre. although the cinematic tribal influences are clearly still there, industrial music influences have been deeply embedded to achieve a rough, bombastic feel.

the intelligent sound treatments & arrangements, the mechanical precision and organic natural power, are the cherries on the top of this cake of dark, danceable and avant-garde industrial. once again proving that LivingTotem does not care about music genres and scenes and we love him for it. the last song on the album, 'cyclone of haarp', is a sublime modern ritual, done as a collaboration with the black metal singer attila csihar (mayhem).
