about

kadaitcha (ukraine’s andrii kozhukhar and yurii samson) are known for brewing their very own blend of harsh synth experimentation, hazy guitars and manic ritual vocals, which some might define as a massive post / drone rock noise. ancient and archaic music influences kadaitcha’s sound deeply, and whilst the group has a feel for spaced out craziness, the dark, low and mid frequency based sound palette evokes ancient and primitive trance atmospheres, summoning imagery like dusty caves, black earth. acoustic drums are used too, often almost masked by the huge masses of sound kadaitcha create, but drum machines also feature, giving it a krautrock vibe. it is a dark, raw and energetic experimental electro-acoustic ritual - like something way beyond the normal understanding of physics is trying to open a rift into your own dimension. powerful, heavy-industrial drone and pure stoner-rock brutality collide into the burning sun. from sheer electronic ear-candy to breathtaking violent magnificence.

and so in the heat of battle, or the dance of dark entities, ever vigilant, ever aggressive and inconsistent, from exhausted empires to the very crunch of red bones under the smudged windows of the hospice for mute and tamed; a spell and an omen, contaminated glass of the tar lake; and the unrecognized ones, standing on the edge of the wasteland of violence, ever braced and merciless in their secret ability to conceal the devilry of mind underneath the gray veil of pain; a premonition, melting stones, shining darkness.

kadaitcha explores organic aspects of the noise, post-industrial and archaic aestethics.
